NEW REGULATIONS FOR THE APPLICANTS UNDER AGE OF 18

 

Minors under the age of 18 applying for a Chinese visa need to provide the following documents. Documents has to be provided in original and photocopy:

 

A) Minors applying  for a Chinese visa at the same time of both parents, is required to provideà

- authenticated   birth certificate (the certificate needs to indicate both parents’ names).

B) Minors applying  for a Chinese visa together with only one parent, is required to provideà

- authenticated   birth certificate (the certificate needs to indicate both parents’ names).

- authenticated  letter of authorization for minor’s visa application from the parent who does not apply for the visa.

- authenticated  letter of authorization from the parent who does not apply for the visa, declaring that he /she  consents  the other parent to travel with the minor.

C) Minors applying for a Chinese visa aloneà

-authenticated   birth certificate (the certificate needs to indicate both parents’ names).

- authenticated  letter of authorization for minor’s visa application from both parents.

- authenticated letter of authorization from both parents consenting an authorised person to travel with the minor.
