Notice about KCVSC Resuming Partial Emergency Operation

Kuching Chinese Visa Application Service Center (referred as the Center) will resume some emergency services from 22 June 2020 (Monday). The arrangements are as follows:

 1. Starting from 22 June, every Monday (9am-3pm), the Center will provides visa applications and legalization services to those applicants who meet the emergency requirements.

 2. Conditions for application:

(1) Visa applicants who urgently need to travel to China that engage in economic and trade, science and technology activities, and have obtained the "Verification Letter of Invitation" or invitation letter (PU) or invitation letter (TE) from the foreign affairs office of the provincial people's government or the commercial department or central enterprise, please send an e-mail to kuchingcenter@visaforchina.org and provide all the relevant materials. Applicants who have received reply from the Center by e-mail should visit the Center according to the appointment time. Upon submission, besides the basic documents, please submit a confirmed air ticket as well.

 (2) Visa applications for emergency humanitarian matters must first send an e-mail to kuchingcenter@visaforchina.org to explain the urgent humanitarian reasons and provide relevant documents, such as proof of relationship and death certificate for those immediate family members whom has pass away in China. For visiting critically ill patients, please provide proof of immediate family relationship certificate and notification of critical illness or critical surgery from the hospital. Applicants who have received reply from the Center by e-mail should visit the Center according to the appointment time.

 (3) Applicants applying for crew visas, please send an e-mail to kuchingcenter@visaforchina.org with all the required documents. Applicants who have received reply from the Center by e-mail should visit the Center according to the appointment time.

 (4) Applicants who need to apply for legalization of documents due to emergency case, please send an e-mail to kuchingcenter@visaforchina.org to explain the emergency reasons and provide all the relevant materials. Applicants who have received a reply from the center by e-mail should proceed to the Center according to the appointment time.

 3. Requirements for epidemic prevention

(1) The applicant who visit the Center must receive temperature check, wear mask and use disinfectant hand sanitizer throughout the process, and maintain a distance of more than one meter between yourself and others.

(2) Upon collection of approved visa application, the applicant shall provide a test report with a negative nucleic acid test result and ensure that the test result report date is no more than one week away from the departure date, and sign a health declaration form for visa application at the same time. After entering China, you must abide all the epidemic prevention regulations.
